Don't just think that you can go grab a pair of XL yoga pants and they will be long yoga pants. XL does not stand for extra long. You need to check the inseam measurement of the pants.
When you find a pair of tall yoga pants you need to make sure they don't shrink when washing or drying them. Wash them in cold water and tumble dry on low. Hang them up after drying to prevent the need to iron any wrinkles. Stretch them a little after putting them through the light tumble. Long yoga pants are a necessity if you are over 5'10".
